My Cousin Evelyn

I got to meet my cousin, Evelyn, for the first time last Friday.  Mommy and I flew down to spend time with the Webster side of the family at the beach.  It was great fun!  We'll have to share some of the highlight pictures over a few posts.

We hit it off right away!

I Miss My Daddy!

Daddy had to go to Kansas City and Denver for work this week...

I Have Decided to Take Action!

Instead of just looking at things and waiting for someone else to move them or hand them to me, I have decided to take action.

First, I started batting at my fishies to make them dance.

Then, I decided to grab my rubber ducky and give him a kiss, instead of letting Mommy do it.

Today, I picked out this wiggly bug at the store and decided to see how he tastes for myself.  I'm also trying to figure out how his cheeks light up and how to make him talk...

Check out that tongue!  Michael Jordan ain't got nuthin' on me!

I went to my first birthday party on Saturday.  It was lots of fun!

Don't I look cute in my party hat!  Of course, I'm sporting my other and more permanent accessory... Always rocking the binky!

Here I am, once again, making Mommy & Daddy pictures look good!

Thanks for the ice cream, Jacob!  I liked it so much, I decided to save some on my chin and neck for later!

I Have Decided to Sit Up

I have been standing on Mommy and Daddy for a while now, but I haven't really been into the whole sitting thing until recently...

Until now, it's been sitting on Daddy's lap with lots of help, which was okay...

But Sunday, I decided that I was ready to sit on the couch like everybody else.  Daddy was helping me at first, so I didn't tip over.  Mommy says I looked like a Weeble Wobble.

I could hardly believe when I sat up all by myself!  It was SO AWESOME!!

Then I looked down... Is that really my belly?!  

No wonder Daddy calls me Buddha Belly!  

I might need to start working out!

I Ate Popsicles with Daddy

Daddy shared his bomb pops with me the other day.  I love popsicles, just like Daddy.  My favorite was the blue part!

That's why I ended up with a blue tongue and blue lips.

It's lots of fun to share with Daddy!

My Big Boy Stroller and First Swim

Mommy decided that I was ready to try out my big boy stroller.  She had to tighten the straps up all the way, but I fit.  I love it!  I can see out the front and sit up!  

She's camera crazy!  Sometimes I get tired of it...

Grandpa came to visit me again last week and took me to the pool with Mommy for the first time.  The water was COLD!!!  But, I didn't mind, it was fun.

Grandpa was worried that I was too cold, so he bundled me in my cozy towel right away.  He takes good care of me.  I love him so much!

Mommy dried me off and Grandpa made sure I was toasty in my socks and sweatshirt!  I had so much fun that I wore out and fell asleep on the long walk across the street home!
